Woking Art Society has a rich history in providing a meeting place for people interested in the practice and appreciation of the visual arts – not just painting, but also sculpture, pottery and printing.
Guests as well as members can watch and learn:
• Through appraisals and demonstrations by experts at monthly meetings
• In workshops run by professional artists
Exhibitions are important events in the Society’s calendar too. All members can exhibit at what have become known as ‘outdoor’ exhibitions in Woking town centre (actually held under cover in Mercia Walk), as well as submit work for our annual show at The Lightbox.
